I was raised in a minister’s home and was exposed to the miracle-working power of God from an early age. In 1972, I graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI), a charismatic Bible School in Dallas, Texas. While at CFNI, I felt the call to become a pastor. My heart is for believers to grow through discipleship, find their personal calling, and operate in the power of God, which is available to all who believe. My wife Gale has been by my side in ministry since 1973. We have been blessed with three wonderful children and six grandchildren.

Very early in life, I was exposed to great music and anointed, intense, heartfelt worship. In an answer to prayer, I was given an organ and the gift of the ability to play. My mother and father showed me a sincere love for God by true example, and then, I experienced it for myself. As a young girl, my heart’s desire was to become a minister’s wife, and God gave me that desire. Blessed with three precious children, I always believed it was my responsibility to teach them to know Jesus for themselves and to have a real experience with the power of God. God has honored that, and now I have the great joy of witnessing that same faith and power being passed down to my six grandchildren.

Both my parents and grandparents instilled in me a heart for serving in the kingdom of God. After high school, I chose to study business, but I soon felt called to youth ministry. I wanted to make a difference in the next generation. I changed colleges and majors and enrolled at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, as a Bible major. In 2008, I married Megan and we are now blessed with two children, Harper and Hallie. Megan and I strive to fulfill the will of God in our lives, lead others into His kingdom, and help those in our circle of influence to cultivate the gifts the Lord has given them.

Faith Assembly of God (now Faith Church) has been my home church since I was very young.  My family was very active in the church throughout my childhood.  I saw how learning about Jesus can be fun and exciting.  My mom’s passion for working with kids overflowed to me at an early age.  I have had the opportunity to work with children (ranging from 1 year to 14 years of age) in both a church setting and childcare setting.  I graduated from Glenn High School and completed my A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Forsyth Technical Community College.  My husband, Carroll, and I met at Faith while serving on the worship team.  We were married there in 2007 and were blessed in 2013 with a little girl, Briella. Carroll and I both have a desire to show children God’s love and teach them to share that love with others.  We want to encourage spiritual growth by providing an environment focused on Biblical teaching, worship, and prayer.  We truly desire to show children how important they are to Christ and that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them.

I have been in full-time ministry for more than 40 years and have a passion for ministering to children and to adults.  My husband and I have been married for 46 years.  We have one daughter and one grandson.  I have had the privilege of directing children’s camps and leading children’s ministries in the church, along with teaching, training and resourcing adults.  I particularly enjoy helping people find their calling and places where they can minister in all areas of church life.  As the director of Adult Ministries, I make opportunities for adults to connect with one another and reach out with wisdom, resources, and talents.  The goal is that all lives who are touched will be built up and encouraged to a greater likeness of Jesus Christ.
